Apple: D'Arcy Spice

Locally famed late variety discovered in grounds of the hall at Tolleshunt D'Arcy in Essex in 1785. Sweet yet acid taste with a spicy flavour. Usually they don't get their flavour till then end of the year, but apples have been ripening much faster in the last decade or so.
